Chris followed his father into the Clearwater Police Department, carrying Tom's legacy of service into the next generation. Chris also made Tom a Pop Pop—possibly his favorite title of the many he carried.

Tom lived a life that left its mark.
He was a devoted husband, father, Pop Pop, friend, mentor, and public servant—but titles only begin to tell the story.
Tom was steady when things were uncertain, practical when things got complicated, and always willing to stand up for what was right. He had a big heart, a sharp sense of humor, and an extraordinary ability to connect with people from every walk of life. He gave freely of his time and knowledge, helped without hesitation, and taught more people than he probably ever realized.
He loved deeply and lived fully. Family was at the center of it all, but there was always room for horsepower, two wheels, a little dirt, a good conversation, and the occasional calculated risk. And you can bet it was calculated.
From Clearwater Police Department to the trails of Florida, from motorcycles and race days to horses, home, and the people he loved most, Tom showed up. Again and again.
He leaves behind more than a lifetime of stories. He leaves pieces of himself in the people he taught, the people he helped, the family he loved, and the communities that were better because he was part of them.
If you knew Tom, chances are he left something with you. This is a place to leave a little piece of him for the rest of us, too.
And if there was ever a time to gather the stories, share the laughs, remember the adventures, and celebrate a life lived fully—

Tom served the Clearwater Police Department for 27 years, retiring as Sergeant in 2004, and later returned to Report Review from 2011–2023.

A lifelong dirt-bike rider, Tom shared the sport with family and friends and gave countless hours to Florida Trail Riders and Suncoast Trailblazers.

It all started with a distress call and a cheeseburger—you’ll have to ask Nancy.
They met on the job at Clearwater Police Department, never knowing it was the beginning of a love story that would span over four decades. Together they built a life filled with family, horses, motorcycles, hard work, laughter, and plenty of adventure.
Through every season of life, theirs was a love grounded in unwavering commitment to one another—a partnership that endured, evolved, and grew stronger with the years.

The pieces of him he passed on.
Tom showed up for each of his children in the things they loved, sharing his knowledge, passions, and example along the way.
Heather
He wholeheartedly supported Heather and Nancy's life with horses, from births and young horses to caring for the property. With Heather, he also shared a love of motorcycles, riding, and adventure.
Tyler
Tom was deeply involved in Tyler's dirt-bike racing from the beginning, teaching him how to work on bikes and sharing a lifetime of practical knowledge.
